Eurocape Ukraine 1 (Eurocape Ukraine I LLC) has built a wind farm with a total capacity of 98 MW in the Azov district of Zaporizhia region. According to the company, $ 400 million was invested in the construction of the wind farm. The company began construction of the plant in May 2020. EDS-Engineering, Electrum, Winner Construction and Power Construction Corporation of China took part in the construction. The planned useful supply of electricity is 325.500 million kWh/year. Wind farm in Primorsk with a capacity of 200 MW is DTEK Renewables second project in the wind power industry. The company plans to complete the construction of the wind electricity plant stage I in 2018. In early 2019 Primorskaya WEP will be connected to the United Energy Systems of Ukraine and begin generating green energy. Two stages of Primorskaya WEP, 100 MW each, are scheduled for commissioning in 2020. Supply, installation, and maintenance of 3-megawatt wind turbines for Primorskaya WEP will be provided by General Electric. The wind farm will produce 650 to 700 million kW·h of green energy a year. Resulting from the operation of the Primorsk WEP, CO2 emissions into the atmosphere will be reduced by 600-700 thousand tonnes annually, due to the decrease in a load of traditional generation facilities.

The first wind farm was constructed on a mountainous area of western Ukraine. The station comprises 4 wind turbines V112-3.3 by Danish company Vestas with a unit capacity of 3300 kW, 119-meter-high tower,112-meter rotor diameter arrayed on the 1.87 hectares area. The power station was commissioned in two stages: Stage 1 - in December 2014, the capacity of 6.6 MW, stage 2- in September 2016 - the capacity of 6.6 MW. In 2017 the electricity generation was 35, 085 million kWh. The installed capacity is 13.2 MW

Güriş Holding Co. Inc, one of the leading groups in Turkey in the construction, industrial and energy sectors, celebrated on 21 September 2019 the grand opening ceremony of its wind farm Ovid Wind in Ovidiopolsky district in Odessa region. 32,4 MW wind farm Ovid Wind is the first wind energy project implemented in the region. The plant consists of 9 GE 3.6-137 wind turbines with a unit capacity of 3.6 MW and a hub height of 131 m.

Brief project description:

As for the end of 2015, 16 wind power installations with a capacity of 107.5 kW each were installed and connected and put into operation on the Syvash WWP site (production of the plant “Pivdenmash”, Dnipro, licensed by the US company Kenetec Windpower). Also, two wind power installation models T600-48 with a capacity of 600 kW each are installed and put into operation (production of the plant “Pivdenmash”, Dnipro, licensed by Belgian company TurboWinds).

Thus, currently, the total capacity of Syvash WWP is 2.92 MW.
