Construction of a 6 MW solar power plant has begun in Trostyanets. The future solar power plant is located on a total of 9 hectares of land plot, it is being built by the German LLC "Green Global Energy", registered in Trostyanets. From April this year to October, almost 660,000 hryvnias of land rent was paid to the city budget.
Investors have already delivered 32 trucks of equipment and, first of all, solar panels, which in a few days almost fifty workers will start assembling. The company has received all permits and licenses, plans to complete construction in two months.
The new facility will allow not only to create new jobs, but also to receive cheap solar electricity, increase contributions to the budget of the city UTC (United territorial community), maintain a proper environment in the surrounding area.
Such a solar power plant in this part of Sumy region is the first.
