The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine has joined the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance. Through participation in the Alliance, the Ministry of Energy will participate in the relevant activities of the organization and receive the most up-to-date information on the development of hydrogen energy in the EU.
The European Alliance for Pure Hydrogen brings together national and local authorities, civil society, business and other stakeholders to implement the new European hydrogen strategy. In particular, it is about discussing investments in the infrastructure of the hydrogen economy across Europe, which could reach 430 billion euros by 2030.
Earlier, NNEGC ''Energoatom" and the GTS Operator of Ukraine joined the European Alliance for Pure Hydrogen.

On July 8, 2020, the European Commission published a "hydrogen strategy for a climate-neutral Europe" and established the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance, which included, inter alia, national energy and multinational companies, research institutions, and the European Investment Bank.
Members of the European Alliance of Pure Hydrogen are such leading European energy and industrial companies as Electricité de France (EDF), E.ON SE, BMW Group, General Electric, AREVA H2Gen, Airbus SAS, Alstom, BASF SE, Bosch Group and many others.
