Ukraine and Georgia has started cooperation

The State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine (SAEE)  and the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the fields of energy efficiency, renewable energy and alternative fuels.

Agreements to cooperate were confirmed by Konstantin Gura, Acting Head of the SAEE, and David Tvalabeishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia. The signing ceremony took place during the official visit of Mr. Gura to Georgia.

Within the framework of the Memorandum, the parties plan to identify opportunities for joint projects in the field of energy efficiency and "green" energy, as well as to exchange experiences, the best practices and mechanisms for implementing projects in these areas.
