Biomass
A 5,9 MW thermal power plant was built in 2020. The investment amounted to over 10 mln euros. The facility provides an uninterrupted power supply during peak loads. According to the project, the main thermomechanical and electrical equipment of the leading European manufacturers has been installed, namely: a medium pressure steam boiler, a turbine: KK & K CFR 5 G6a / AFA 66 GTA (Siemens) (as part of the high-pressure turbine CFR 5 G6a (3491 kW, 1500 per min), as well as two low-pressure turbines AFA 66 GTA (2036 kW, 1500 per min), and an electric generator DIG Generators 156 n / 4W. Production capacity is 42 million kWh of electricity annually. For fuel, Polissian TPP uses the energy willow, which the company cultivates near Ovruch, along with woodchips and illiquid wood. The incineration technologies the plant implements facilitate a reduction in emissions of nitrogen oxides, dust and ash.Every year the company will pay over 20 million hryvnias to the national budget through various taxes and fees

The SPP area is 32 hectares, the station generates electricity up to 25,000 MWh per year, which is enough for a full power supply of 5,000 apartments. The station transmits the generated electricity to the Livoberezhna-1 substation, which supplies the city's residential area of the same name. 3 years ago there was a regular landfill, today it is an energy efficient facility. To increase the efficiency of SPP, the company used an automatic scheme of night shutdown of power equipment. All transformers are automatically switched off every night, and the equipment is switched on a few minutes before sunrise. Thus, electricity is not consumed at night, which significantly affects the financial performance of the facility

Energy efficiency
The project goal is to increase energy efficiency of amenities building. The building consumes centrally thermal energy (from the boiler house of the Agricultural University for space heating), cold water and electricity. In order to implement measures to improve energy efficiency, it is necessary to: replace incandescent lamps with energy-efficient (LED); reconstruct heating systems; replace old windows with energy-saving ones; insulate walls, basement and roof. Baseline energy consumption for heating and hot water 119 078 kWh / year. Baseline energy consumption for electricity 5 380 kWh / year. In general, the specific consumption is 279 kWh / m2 per year. The required amount of investment is UAH 1 946 369

UDP Renewables, whose strategic investor is the holding company UFuture, continues its partnership with the world leader in green generation - ACCIONA. As part of the cooperation, two stages of the new solar power plant "Gudzovka-Solar" in the city of Izmail, Odessa region, were put into commercial operation. Investments in the project amounted to about € 21 million. Together, SPP Gudzovka-Solar -1 and SPP Gudzovka-Solar -2 have a peak capacity of 24.4 MW and are equipped with more than 72,000 solar panels manufactured by JASolar. The general contractor of the project was a group of companies KNESS, the financial partner was Credit Agricole Bank. SPP "Gudzovka-Solar" will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 30 thousand tons per year

There is the autonomous control system based on the Luxor operating system at HPP. This system manages and controls the technological process: automatic start, stop, HPP emergency shutdown. This system also controls: headwater elevation; turbine speed; generator temperature; power generator parameters; locks and protection. The control system innovation is a DC power supply system of 24V (DC), which allows the turbine to be closed by a disk shutter with electrohydraulic actuator (DC24V) in case of emergency shutdowns of the network. HPP key technical characteristics: pressure H = 5.7 m; water supply Q = 4.2 m3 / s; generator: asynchronous AG, P = 180 kW, U = 0.4 kV, n = 428 rpm. Hydraulic turbine: T-90 piped, propeller horizontal type

The project plans to construct a thermal power plant (TPP) for 6.6 MW/hour electricity generation with its further sale at the feed-in tariff. The fuel for the TPP will be dry reeds which will be used as a fuel for the TPP to generate steam and then electricity. To ensure the electricity generation of 6.6 MW/hour, 50 thousand tons of reeds per year will be required for continuous work during 350 days for 2500HP boiler, manufactured by “Hurst Boiler & Welding Co. Inc.”. The secondary product produced by TPP will be organic ash, which will be sold as fertilizer. The project plans that the TPP will operate 350 days a year. 15 days – scheduled preventive maintenance (SPM)
