A biogas power plant with a capacity of 6 MW has started operating in the Teofipol village (Khmelnytsky region). The third stage of the biogas complex was launched by the Teofipol Energy Company. Biogas produced during the processing of organic waste from silage, sugar pulp and manure is used to produce electricity and heat. The useful supply of electricity to the third stage of the biogas plant is 52.560 mln kWh per year. The capacity of the first and second stages of the biogas complex is 15 MW in total ( I stage - 5 MW, II stage - 10 MW). The biogas complex was built at the expense of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and its own resources

In the framework of the investment project, it is envisaged the construction and operation of a 6 MW TPP plant using biomass as fuel, in Dubrovytsya, Rivne region.
The project plans to generate 6 MWe with its further sale at the feed-in tariff.
The fuel for the TPP will be wood chips, sawdust, wood waste of which, by direct incineration in a boiler, produced by “Hurst Boiler & Welding Co. Inc.” (USA), we get steam and ash. Obtained steam is sent to a steam turbine to generate electricity.
The total amount of wood chips for this project is about 75 200 tons per year, from them just 67 200 tons are quite enough for continuous work for 350 days for the 2300HP boiler
Purpose of the project:
