12th European-Ukrainian Energy Day

European-Ukrainian Energy Agency invite to take part in 12th European-Ukrainian Energy Day “Climate Lockdown: Time to Act Until It Is Too Late” in partnership with EU Green Week 2021.

Date:  June 10, 2021.

If the quarantine regime would allow, EUEA plans the format of full day up to 100 offline participants in the Kyiv.

4 thematic sessions are planned:

  1. Ukrainian reforms vs international policy to avoid climate lockdown and move towards carbon neutrality.
  2. Financing lockdown of decarbonization projects: how not to lose its “window of opportunity” for Ukraine and mistakes that lead to the loss of investors and donors.
  3. Innovations in renewable energy, technology development, prospects for green hydrogen. 
  4. Strategy for delaying or expanding renewable energy, or when the state begins to actively solving RES problems by the anniversary of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Ukraine and the RES sector.

Among the speakers, participation has already been confirmed of influential governmental and private organizations and institutions, namely: Arzinger, DTEK, Elementum Energy, Energy Community Secretariat, EuroСape, European Investment Bank, Guris, IMEPOWER, Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, NBT AS, Scatec, SE “Guaranteed Buyer”, Wartsila.
