Brief project description:

Kuntsivska HPP with a channel reservoir on the Vorskla River in Novosanzharsk raion was put into operation in 1953 and reconstructed in 2007. The installed capacity of the HPP is 400 kW. The area of the channel reservoir is 101 hectares; the volume of the reservoir at normal headwater level (NHL) is 1.7 million cubic meters.

Kasperivska HPP is the most powerful hydroelectric plant in Ternopil oblast. The HPP is located on the Seret River near Kasperivtsi village, Zalishchyky raion.

The HPP has been operating since 25 December 1963 and since then it has produced more than 600 million kW•h of electricity. The HPP provides electricity to Kasperivtsi and Zalishchyky.

The essence of the project:

Brief description of the project:

The hydroelectric power station is located in the village of Zolota Lipa (Tlumach district, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast) on the river Golden Lipa. At the hydroelectric power station, two vertical turbines are installed. The station is in automatic mode. The control system provides the automatic start, stop and emergency shutdown of the HPP.

Basic technical characteristics of the hydroelectric power plant:

Pressure H = 3 m

Water discharge Q = 4-8 m3 / s

Generator: asynchronous AG, P = 200 kW, U = 0.4 kV, n = 1000 rpm.

The small HPP on the Krasna River is located in Krasna village, Tiachiv raion, Zakarpattia oblast. The facility was put into operation in two stages: a capacity of 800 kW in January 2011 and a capacity of 360 kW in July 2013, respectively. Thus, the total installed capacity is 1160 kW.

The facility has the following main features:

Brief project description:

HPP Uzhhorodska was built in 1942 (the city of Uzhhorod, Zakarpattia oblast). The installed capacity of the facility is 1.9 MW.

The station is located 10 km below the main structure of the joint derivational channel with Onokivska HPP. The facility includes a building of the HPP, emergency spillway and flood spillway. The underwater part of the building is concrete; the ground part consists of ceramic bricks. The production area is 960 square meters. The flood spillway is a concrete gravity dam of 25 m in length, with water overflow through the crest. A 5 m wide emergency spillway offset by a flat gate is located between the flood spillway and the HPP building.

Brief project description:

Onokivska HPP is located in Onokivtsi village of Uzhhorod raion, Zakarpattia oblast. The facility was built in 1942. The installed capacity is 2.65 MW.

The facility includes a building of the HPP, concrete flood spillway and emergency spillway. Mini-HPP is located 4.3 km far from the main diversion structure of the derivational channel. The underwater part of the building is concrete; the ground part consists of ceramic bricks. The production area is 650 square meters. The flood spillway is a concrete gravity dam of 25 m in length, with water overflow through the crest. A 5 m wide emergency spillway offset by a flat gate is located between the flood spillway and the HPP building.

There is the autonomous control system based on the Luxor operating system at HPP. This system manages and controls the technological process: automatic start, stop, HPP emergency shutdown. This system also controls: headwater elevation; turbine speed; generator temperature; power generator parameters; locks and protection. The control system innovation is a DC power supply system of 24V (DC), which allows the turbine to be closed by a disk shutter with electrohydraulic actuator (DC24V) in case of emergency shutdowns of the network. HPP key technical characteristics: pressure H = 5.7 m; water supply Q = 4.2 m3 / s; generator: asynchronous AG, P = 180 kW, U = 0.4 kV, n = 428 rpm. The purpose of the project:

The energy efficiency project involves the production of energy from alternative fuels. The project is the replacement of natural gas as a primary resource for heat.

Brief project description:

A solid fuel boiler-house (15, Bazhenova str.) built in cooperation with Switzerland was put into operation in Vinnytsia in June 2016.

The total cost of the project is 3 million Swiss francs. Local funds allocated for the construction - 27 million UAH.

The following activities were carried out within the project:

  • 2013-2014: three gas boilers were replaced with modern ones, which are more energy efficient, with a total capacity of 18 MW;
  • 2015-2016: a new solid-fuel boiler-house using wood as fuel was built; it consists of two boilers with a total capacity of 5.2 MW.

The total capacity of the project is 23.2 MW.

The supply of equipment for the boiler-house was made by VIESSMANN AG (Switzerland), according to the signed contract. The supply package includes 3 boilers of 6 MW each, two solid-fuel hot-water boilers VIESSMANN with a capacity of 2.6 MW each, filters, ash removal systems, smoke exhausts, circulation valves, frequency converters, control and signaling systems, electrical equipment, rapid laboratory, scales etc.

Mode of operation of the boiler-house - all year round.

The boiler-house provides heat and hot water to:

  • 52 multi-storey buildings;
  • 2 kindergartens;
  • 1 school.

The project of the CHP was developed in accordance with the "Municipal Energy Plan" and "Heat Supply Scheme of the City", which, in order to cover the deficit of the enterprise "Communal Electric Power Plant" in the electric power, the installation of a cogeneration power plant with a total electrical capacity of 1.89 MW on the territory of the existing boiler plant. The boiler plant has 10 kV transformer substation connected to the electricity network of the enterprise. The main consumers of electricity are wastewater treatment plants, boiler houses and CTP, which are part of the Municipal Enterprise "Municipal Heating and Cooling Supply". The main objective of the project is to create a "Single Energy Ring" system - an unified system of cable networks. The annual economic effect of the implementation of this project is 8467,2 thousand UAH. The given project was submitted to the Action Plan on implementation of the Strategy of regional development of Khmelnytskyi region for 2018-2020

Brief project description:

Biogas power plant produces electricity from the biomass, which is formed from the organic waste at the MSW Landfill number 5 in the village Pidhirtsi in Obukhiv district of Kyiv region. The project was implemented in two stages (2012 and 2014 years) with the total installed capacity of 2 126 кW.  The annual scope of electricity production Annual electricity production in 2015 reached 18.6 million kWh.

Biogas power plant at the MSW Landfill number 5 is the first power station in Ukraine, which produces electricity from organic waste that is sold to the Wholesale electricity market at the "green" tariff.

The cost of the SPP project is 38 million. Investors were individuals - citizens of Ukraine. The payback period for the project is 6-7 years. The construction of the SPP began in October 2012 and completed on 1st April 2013. The basis of the SPP consists of more than 12 thousand photovoltaic modules of Czech production. They cover an area of approximately 6 hectares. LLC “Solar Power Plant “Bohorodchanske-1” belongs to the group of companies LLC “Eco Optima”.

Brief project description:

The construction of SPP Sambirska began in 2012 in Ralivka village, Sambir raion, Lviv oblast. It includes three stages of construction. The SPP covers a land area of over 20 hectares.

After the second stage of construction started in 2013, the installed capacity of the facility was more than 3 MW. In 2015 the amount of electricity generated by the SPP amounted to 4.5 million kW ∙ h.

In early 2016 the third stage of the SPP construction was reported to be completed with an installed capacity of 10 MW.

The installed capacity of the facility is 5.4 MW that enables to generate approximately 6.3 million kW•h per year.

The installed capacity is 9.9 MW, which enables to generate approximately 9.3 million kWh per year.
